Our new roses are in and selling well. Most of our plants are Grade #1 quality from +Weeks Roses. They have all been recently potted to prevent the roots from dehydrating, and they have all been hand pruned. Below is a list of the varieties we strarted the season with. Some will sell out quickly due to limited numbers available, but we have a good supply of a number of the great performing varieties.
Since 1959, we have been giving sage gardening advice. We are now sharing our knowledge of a past time we love so much in another format. We hope you learn something new.

It's that time of year again! Bare root season for 2013 is well under way. The cooler, cloudy weather and rain will help extend the season to mid-late February this year. +Dave Wilson Nursery has a list of varieties and descriptions of plants we ordered from them this year at the following link in PDF format: http://davewilson.com/br40/retailers/bycounty.html#sandiego
We also have grapes, blackberries, rasperries, and more that are not on the list. As you can see in the pictures below, we keep our plant stock hydrated and fresh in beds of sand until time of purchase.
